We are looking for a senior project manager who will join our team of developers to deliver high-quality experiences to our clients. Responsibilities

  • Independently manage software development projects from initiation to closure

  • Evaluate business and project needs to define scope and identify priorities

  • Develop project plans to monitor and track progress, including project schedules, communication plans, risk management, and resource allocation

  • Drive the change management process; identify changes, perform impact analysis, and update project plans accordingly

  • Define the project governance structure and regularly report project status to project sponsor(s) and senior management

  • Coordinate project teams and stakeholders

  • Manage project documentation

  • Develop cross-functional plans of action and milestones that support achieving business-level goals

  • Support the development of the overall business strategy and priorities

  • Moderate and lead team meetings and events

Requirements

  • University degree (B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or similar fields preferred)

  • 5 years of project management experience in managing software development projects in the IT industry

  • Knowledge of processes, tools, and best practices in software development (e.g. Agile processes and principles)

  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Strong English speaking and writing skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Expertise in one of the major project management tools, such as JIRA

  • Experience with one of the major collaboration platforms, such as Confluence or Sharepoint

  • Experience with risk analysis and risk management

  • A certificate in at least one of the agile methodologies

Bonus, but not necessarily

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or IPMA certificate

  • experience in agency work (multiple projects and multiple clients at a time)
